Yahoo Boy Who Scammed A Chinese Lady Of N113k Told By Court To Sweep A School For 3 Months!!
An Internet fraudster in Abuja, Abraham Umuibe , landed in court after perpetrating a fraudulent online romantic scheme that duped a Chinese woman of N113, 000.

The suspect, 21 years of age, was directed by the presiding judge, Ms. Kezziah Ogbonna, to sweep Mpape Government Secondary School for the next three months as punishment for his crime.
He had been apprehended by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), who leveled a charge of cheating against him. He perpetrated the scheme by posing as a Chinese military officer, Maisbay Chang.

The Chinese lady, whose identity was not publicized, was cajoled into giving Umuibe the sum of N113, 000 after they had first connected on a social media platform, We Chat.
After entering into a plea bargain, Umuibe was given a warning from the judge to desist from committing further criminal offenses. He was given the community service punishment to reduce congestion in prisons in Abuja.
In a related report, another court has refused to grant bail to a former registrar of the Joint Admissions Matriculation Board (JAMB), Mr. Dibu Ojerinde , who faces allegations of mismanaging a sum of N900 million.
The embattled ex- registrar’ s bail application had been submitted by his defense counsel; however, it was opposed by the Independent Criminal Practices Commission (ICPC).
According to the Commission’ s lawyer, P. O. Olorunishola, the ex- registrar was embroiled in another case in Minna, Niger State, and that he opposed the bail application.
